Ras El Hanout Roasted Almonds

Shelled almonds are tossed in ras el hanout spice blend and rosemary. Then they are oven roasted to create a tasty snack that is healthy and full of flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 sprigs rosemary chopped
  • 1 egg white
  • Zest of one orange
  • ½ teaspoon Ras El Hanout spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon granulated white sugar
  • 2 cups raw almonds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Whisk egg whites until frothy.
  • To the eggs whites, add in the almonds, orange zest, rosemary, ras el hanout, and sugar. Gently fold mixture until coated evenly.
  • Spread the coated almonds onto a prepared baking sheet. Season lightly with sea salt.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
